Jungle have entered a new era. The Mercury Prize-nominated trio: J Lloyd, Tom McFarland, and Lydia Kitto, have announced their fifth studio album, ‘Sunshine’. Alongside the reveal, the group shared the shimmering lead single ‘Carry On’ and confirmed an expansive world tour spanning 2026 and 2027.
Set for release on August 14, the 11-track record serves as the successor to 2023’s acclaimed ‘Volcano’. The lead single, ‘Carry On’, made its global debut as the ‘Hottest Record’ on BBC Radio 1; it captures the band's signature blend of soulful disco and atmospheric electronics.
The tracklist for the album can be seen below:

Jungle first burst onto the scene in 2014 with their self titled debut, ‘Jungle’, which earned a Mercury Prize nomination and introduced the world to their hypnotic, mid-tempo funk. They followed this with the lush, cinematic sounds of ‘For Ever’ (2018) and the high-energy, dance floor focused ‘Loving In Stereo’ (2021).
Their fourth album, ‘Volcano’ (2023), further cemented their status as modern soul icons, winning them the BRIT Award for Best British Group. Over the years, they have produced a string of global hits that have become staple anthems, including:
This consistent evolution has won them high-profile admirers across the industry. Notably, Noel Gallagher has frequently praised the group, once stating in an interview that Jungle are "fucking amazing" and one of the few modern bands he truly respects.
The announcement follows a landmark year for the band’s live reputation. Their performance at Glastonbury 2024 was hailed as one of the weekend's absolute highlights: a masterclass in live production that transformed the West Holts stage into a massive, strobe-lit dance party. Critics praised the set for its seamless flow and the band’s ability to recreate their complex studio layers with organic, live energy.
Jungle will now take that energy to global arenas starting this September. The journey begins in North America with stops in major hubs such as Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles.
By October, the tour moves to Europe, hitting cultural capitals including Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Milan. The trio then returns home for a highly anticipated UK and Ireland leg:
The world tour concludes in March 2027 with a run of dates across Australia, visiting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. Tickets are expected to move fast as the band continues their streak of selling out iconic venues worldwide.
