Better Late Than Never

Peace have confirmed that their fourth album ‘Utopia’ will arrive on streaming platforms on October 10th, 2025.

The record has had an unconventional rollout. First unveiled in 2023 via a password-protected website accessible only to fans who bought tickets to their UK tour, it was later pressed as a limited-edition vinyl on November 3rd of that year.

The shows marked a fresh chapter for the band, who had been on hiatus prior to their return. At the time, cryptic magazine ads called for “energetic, amused and happy to support Peace” fans to apply as “perfect supernumerary for the new live show.”

In a statement, Peace explained:

“You can listen to our new album in full right now on our cool new website peaceforeverever.co.uk. We will email you a password with every ticket to these shows. The record will be commercially released later this year, but for no,w this is how we are going to share our music with the people that it means a lot to.”

They also confirmed a significant line-up change, revealing that founding members Douglas Castle and Dominic Boyce had left the band:
“So yes, we are a duo. We are not replacing them, and Peace is entering a new era in an extremely meaningful way. These shows mark the explosion of a newer universe. A second big bang. More to follow.”

Touring as a two-piece, Peace performed ‘Utopia’ in full alongside selections from their first three albums, including fan favourites ‘World Pleasure’, ‘Lost on Me’ and ‘1998’.

Since then, the band have been releasing singles from the record sporadically. ‘Happy Cars’ landed ahead of their 2023 tour, followed by ‘Masterpiece’ in February 2024. A year later came ‘Swimming with Dolphins’, with ‘Polly With the Perfect Hair’ and ‘Darkness on the Dancefloor’ arriving in March and August 2025, respectively.

Their latest single, ‘Good Jeans’, was released yesterday.

Despite the drawn-out rollout, the tracks have been warmly received, with ‘Masterpiece’ in particular standing out as one of the band’s strongest indie-pop songs to date.
‘Utopia’ will be available in full on Spotify and Apple Music from October 10th.
