Two Door Cinema Club Announce 2027 Arena Tour

Two Door Cinema Club are embarking on a massive string of live shows through 2026 and early 2027. The performances celebrate the 15th anniversary of their seminal 2010 debut album, 'Tourist History'. The band is performing the record in its entirety alongside a collection of their greatest hits.

The Crystal Palace Park headline show on 26 June 2026 stood out as the absolute crown jewel of the band's summer 'Tourist History 15th Anniversary Tour'. Serving as the official opening night of the annual Crystal Palace Park Series, the 25,000-capacity event sold out completely weeks in advance, drawing one of the most passionate indie-pop crowds of the year.

Wrexham four-piece The Royston Club took the stage at 4:00 PM and instantly ignited the afternoon atmosphere. Quickly solidifying their reputation as one of the fastest-growing guitar bands in the UK, they drew a massive portion of the early crowd directly to the front barrier. Frontman Tom Faithfull’s live vocals sounded exceptionally sharp and powerful in the open park, effortlessly cutting through the heavy outdoor air. Leaning into the sun-drenched festival energy, the band ripped through an infectious, melodic set of indie-rock hooks pulled heavily from their debut album, 'Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars'. Their short, punchy performance proved exactly why Two Door Cinema Club hand-picked them to remain as the primary opening support for the upcoming 2027 Irish arena dates in Dublin and Belfast.

Directly preceding the headliners, The Vaccines delivered a masterclass in festival showmanship with what felt like a co-headline performance rather than a standard support slot. Because their own seminal debut record, 'What Did You Expect from The Vaccines?', also reached its milestone anniversary, the band treated the day as a shared celebration of the late-2000s and early-2010s indie era. Frontman Justin Hayward-Young commanded the massive space instantly, creating a perfect back-to-back nostalgia trip for the 25,000 fans in attendance.

The band systematically rattled through a high-energy set packed with tracks from that 2011 masterpiece, including 'Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)', 'Norgaard', and 'Post Break-Up Sex'. The definitive peak of their performance arrived with 'If You Wanna', which caused the entire field to erupt into a massive singalong that completely drowned out the band. To keep the energy fresh alongside mid-career classics like 'I Always Knew', The Vaccines even treated the Crystal Palace crowd to a surprise sneak peek of an unreleased new track titled 'Ten Years Too Far', ensuring their slot was both a celebration of the past and a look toward the future.

Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday, and Kevin Baird stepped onto the stage at 8:25 PM with a calm, understated confidence. They opened immediately with the fast, syncopated rhythms of 'Cigarettes in the Theatre', sending the massive crowd into a frenzy. The band structured the night to highlight their evolution, flawlessly blending the jagged, layered guitar hooks of their 2010 debut record, 'Tourist History', alongside later synth-heavy eras. The 20-song setlist featured a block of early anthems, including 'I Can Talk', 'Undercover Martyn', and 'Something Good Can Work'.

As twilight fell over London, they transitioned into the electro-pop grooves of their sophomore record, 'Beacon', playing 'Sleep Alone', 'Handshake', and 'Next Year'. Expanding deeper into their discography, they also treated the field to synth-pop cuts like 'Changing of the Seasons' and the driving beats of 'Dirty Air'. Moving seamlessly between chapters of their career, the band maintained a relentless, high-tempo energy that left no room for lulls. The historic night ultimately concluded with a massive, 25,000-strong vocal echo during their definitive closing track, 'What You Know'

Beyond their massive London show, the band's 2026 calendar is packed with major festival appearances and high-profile international dates. They are spending July hitting European stages, bringing the celebration to Festival Cruïlla in Barcelona and the scenic coast of Galicia for Atlantic Fest in Spain. This is followed by a major return to the UK festival circuit, headlining the main stage at both Truck Festival at Hill Farm and Kendal Calling. August sees them topping the bill at Derbyshire's Y Not Festival before they play a monumental outdoor headline show at Cardiff Castle on 2 August. For this historic Welsh performance, the band is bringing along indie-dance legends Friendly Fires and the fast-rising opening act 3LIJAH as special guests. They will then fly to Asia to perform at Indonesia's LALALA Fest before wrapping up the autumn of 2026 with an extensive North American run, highlighted by a headline performance at Madison Square Garden on 27 September.

Because the band has not done a full headline tour of the UK and Ireland in seven years, they have announced a five-date arena tour for January 2027 to extend the 'Tourist History' party. The highly anticipated tour officially kicks off with two massive homecoming dates across Ireland, starting at the 3Arena in Dublin on 23 January 2027, followed immediately by a night at the SSE Arena in Belfast on 24 January 2027. Wrexham indie outfit The Royston Club will act as the exclusive opening support for both Irish dates, building on the electric chemistry they established during the summer. Following the Ireland shows, the band moves to the UK mainland to play the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, the AO Arena in Manchester, and The O2 in London. For these final three 2027 dates, support duties will shift over to Circa Waves and Arkayla.
