Jamie T Returns With New Album ‘Ghosts (100 Days of Morning)’ and shares single ‘3310’

Jamie T has announced his sixth album, ‘Ghosts (100 Days of Morning)’, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2022’s ‘The Theory of Whatever’.

Comprising 11 songs, the album is described in a press release as a “collection of former ghosts (of ideas) brought to life during a difficult time in his life”.

Across the record, Jamie explores growing older, leaving youth behind, love and loss, and the determination required to abandon an old version of yourself and embrace a new identity.

To accompany the announcement, he has released the anthemic new single ‘3310’, driven by lively guitars and his characteristically bold lyricism. It is unmistakably Jamie T while sounding like a natural evolution of everything that made ‘The Theory of Whatever’ so compelling.

Explaining the ideas behind the album, Jamie said: “Everyone has a part of themselves they keep at arm’s length, even from the people they love. ‘Ghosts’ to me is about seeing that version of yourself for the first time in a long time and trying to hold on to it. This album is me trying to find that again.”

The track listing also features several notable collaborators. The Maccabees’ Hugo White appears on ‘Tallahassee’ and ‘Crucible’, while the album’s second track, ‘Cocktail’, is a collaboration between Jamie T and Damon Albarn. The record also includes a cover of The Jam’s ‘Ghosts’.

‘Ghosts (100 Days of Morning)’ will be released on 9 October through Polydor Records. Fans can pre-order the album here
